Life is Life

You swim for your life, because if you are out of lives you must quit the game. You have five lives, 10 animal cards in hand and ten animals are laid out in four rows, 1-2-3-4. The active player swaps cards or knocks. If you swap, you take one row and replace it with as many cards from your hand, with at last one card different to those you took. If you knock, all other players have one more turn and then you score animal majorities. Then you add all your scores and don’t lose a life for the highest total. Whoever has fewest points, loses two lives, all others lose one life. Should you hold four cats, five rabbits or five pigs, the round ends instantly and all others lose one life.
