Noise moves cars
Move cars by sound volume! The louder a nice is that a player makes the bigger the distance the car will travel - from one card up to a full round of the maximum distance of nine cards.
36 task cards are shuffled and stacked face-down; nine target cards are laid out in a circle; the car begins in front of a randomly selected card. The active player turns up a task card: It shows an item that determines the target card for the car, and shows the type of noise that must be made - clapping, hissing, knocking our or American Indian war cry. The active player must now make the sound in such a volume intensity that players can guess the correct target from the sound volume. Each player in turn gives a guess, meaning that all players name the item where they think the car will be stopping its journey. Then the sound giver names the solution and moves the car to the card showing the target item. Every player who gave a correct guess receives a card from the stack; the sound giver receives one card if at least one player gave a correct guess. When the stack of cards has been used up, you win with most cards. If you want a longer game, you do not hand out cards for correct guesses, but make a note of the corresponding points. As a variety, you can of course name a number of cards, won by one player, to determine the end of the game.
An enchanting idea for a game that not only demands close listening, but also some diligence in grading the sound volume; nine levels for clapping are not easy to achieve! A very felicitous acoustic and grading training.
