Rivality

 

Mages use golems to fight for control of the Well of Mana. Tiles represent Fortresses, cottages. well and stone circles; cottages and fortresses carry shields and deflect golems. Symbols on tiles state number and distance of summoned golems.  Tiles form the battlefield, at the start there is only the well there. If you have most golems on a tile, you control it. If you are active, you place a tile from hand adjacent to a tile in the battle fields, put your own mage and one golem on it, resolve the spells = symbols for summoned golems and draw a tile, Spells do not affect a tile with a mage on it. When a game-end condition is met, you retrieve all controlled tiles from the battle fields but the one with your mage on it and sum their values. You win with most points.
