Catan Scenarios Frenemies

Catan is set up as usual; you place the guildhall board next to the island and prepare a stock of favor markers. Those favor markers can be earned by 1) moving the robber without effect, 2) donating a resource card to a player with fewer visible victory points – he can reject the gift; or 3) for each first-time connection of your network to that of an opponent – he gets one marker, you get three markers. You can return favor markers to the corresponding guild and receive favor, for instance free building of a road or exchanging of a resource card, etc., or you can exchange one favor marker for another. A version for 5-6 players is listed.
