Wömmeln

Wömmeln is made up from WÖrter saMMELN, aka collect words; each player has a different sheet of letters in a grid; in each of 10 rounds, one category is revealed and all simultaneously search their grid for a suitable word; all letters are circled and can be anywhere in the grid. Then the letters are connected by lines, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, always from letter to letter and in correct order; if you need to cross unused letters, they are out of play. Connections cannot run through other circled or crossed letters. If someone found a word, all others have 45 more seconds or 90 seconds in the last round. When time has run out, you score the number of letters in your word. After round 10, you win with most points. Includes an Intense Variant, comprising six rounds only and sheets with grids featuring some letters only once.
