Based on
the book „Inkheart“ by
Cornelia Funke, players need to support Meggie to fight Capricorn and the Shadow with the magic of words.
Letters are laid out, Meggie
and Capricorn start on spot 1 of their path, Fenoglio
and the Shadow on the middle square. Fenoglio or the
Shadow move when the timer shows their colour, Fenoglio
uncovers a letter at the end of his move, the Shadow covers all letters
touched. If Fenoglio or the Shadow enter a light
spot, the timer is turned over an players must solve a
task. For each correct word one receives a book chip, for a solved task Meggie moves one step, otherwise the Shadow. For book chips
one can deviate the Shadow, if Meggie
reaches the finish all players have won together.
