La Città
Against the background of the booming city states in renaissance Italy players develop
their towns. They use agriculture, stone quarries and water to develop the
castellos into cities, whereby the most important factor is a balance between
population, resources and cultural development - only a city with market and
well can sustain more than 8 citizens, but you also must have enough farms to
feed them, and you must build schools, universities or churches to fulfill
popular demand at the end of the round. If not, population will wander off to
other cities, and unfed population will die. Thus the player must constantly
decide his priorities, and after 6 rounds each citizens gains him 1 point, each
city owned and equipped with culture, education and health will gain him 3
points, the player with the most points wins.
