Castle Himeji is the seat of Daimy, you as a resident family try to improve your position at court and, in this expansion, strives for the best seats in the tea house. There is a supplementary board for the tea house with Tea fields and Outskirts of the Castle, a new bridge with its corresponding green dice, ceremonial tiles and wooden Geisha pawns; players have an additional action per round. Dice in Tea Fields result in a Geisha actions – entering the tea house or moving on the Tea Path; Daimyo seals let you buy chasen. A round ends when there are only four dice on all the bridges – turn order is now determined and gardens are resolved, the pond acts like a garden. After three rounds, the game is scored – remaining resources, season reached, training yards, clan members and gardeners and also geishas, depending on their positions. A solo variant is included.
