Hertzschlag
Decentralized energy producers of renewable energies replace mega power stations, but depend on the weather. Players are private households, vary their energy uptake or invest in producing units or influence political decisions. You try to meet private goals and to avoid a blackout with coordinated action among players. Agreements are not binding. All simultaneously play one of five cards in hand, thus influencing net frequency and maybe cause costs. When afterwards, the frequency is not in the green area, players can pay the cost of secondary regulation together. If this fails, a blackout happens and the game ends.
