Road to Lord

In a medieval setting, local lords compete for the best offerings to the kind – swords for loyalty, wheat for tribute or wine as luxury commodity, but also gold or gems. For the biggest offering you receive new land; the king loves gold and gems, but his preferences change. You use number cards with the same symbol do form a number, maybe with 0 or 00 included at the end. The lead player of the round forms a number; all others use the same symbols for their number or play any symbol. If cards with the symbol of the the current king’s craving are played, the highest number formed with this symbol takes the trick, or else the highest number formed with the led symbol. The won tricks are scored according to the number of cards used. After eight tricks you win with most points.
