Font Karuta

A game on 48 kinds of typeset fonts, from Akko Rounded to Zapfino Extra. Karuta is a traditional Japanese card game about finding cards based on descriptions. Font Karuta features 48 cards depicting a font and 49 reader cards with descriptions of the fonts. Font cards are displayed, players have 3 minutes to memorize them, then the cards are shuffled and displayed font side up, the font name is on the back. The reader holds the stack of text cards and reads out the first card. If you spot the correct font card you put your hand on it and get the card if you are fastest and correct. If you are wrong, you are out of play for the round. If only one card is left, you win with most cards.
