You lead a city state in ancient Greece and, in a turn, have two actions out of seven options – philosophy, legislature, culture, trade, military, politics and development; in each of the nine rounds you resolve phases – event announcement – taxes – dice with assigning action tokens to dice, revealing and adaption of citizen cubes – actions – progress with increasing one track on the city board – resolve announced event – achievement = levels on point, citizen, troops or economy track or three politics cards, each achievement can only be achieved once. After nine rounds you win with most points after a final scoring of unlocked developments, politics cards, and big knowledge markers multiplied with fame.
