Mauziarty must be caught! He committing a new crime every round and moves one step along the track. You are dealt a clue card in a holder, front side towards the other players; the card shows one of five suspects and a time. A turn comprises two phases – Action with investigating plus optional guessing and Cleanup. To investigate, you put down, twice, one clue card from your hand – the other players confirm or negate correlation with your card in the holder as clue or dead end; the cards are set down accordingly left or right of your board. Then you hand on two clue cards and draw two clue cards. Then you can give an optional guess by naming a suspect or time or both – the others only answer right or wrong. For correct guessing you take paw print tokens from the track; if you take Mauziaty, the game ends. After a player turn for everyone, Mauziaty moves on his track; if he reaches the end of the track, players have one more turn each to catch Mauziaty; if not, the game is lost and Mauziaty has escaped.
