Kites

 

Sandtimers represent ites that must be kept in the air, that is, they should not run out – red runds 30 seconds, orange 45, yellow and white 60, blue 75 and purple 90 seconds. In your turn, you play a card on your stack, turn over the corresponding timers and draw a card. White is a joker and can be turned whenever your card shows only one kite. Discussions and suggestions are allowed. When all draw piles are empty, all play their cards from hand, but you cannot turn over the white timer any longer.  For a more challenging game you can shuffle challenge cards into the draw pile - Sturm, Verfangen or Flugzeug – to cause turning over of all timers or swapping of cards in hand or no communication until the card has been covered on the discard pile by the next card.
