40-60 markers = rain drops move from the treetop down towards the tree roots. Players should eliminate as many markers as possible before they reach the roots. A die determines the number of drops that move, row by row and one by one from left to rights and top to bottom, onto the first free slot. The active player moves three times, determined by three dice - order of movement is arbitrary, orthogonally or diagonally. At the edge of the board or at the tree trunk the pawn can change direction; if the move ends on a slot with a drop, the drop is eliminated. You cannot move over drops and drops block pawn movement. Opposing pawns do not block a move, but the final slot of a move must be empty. Drops already in the roots cannot be eliminated. The game ends without a winner when 7 drops are in the roots; the game is won when all drops have been eliminated, the player with most drops is “savior of the tree”.
