The new Artifacts
and Allies turn the rules of Runebound on their head.
Some encourage Hero cooperation, while some guarantee Hero conflict! This
expansion introduces new Allies called Familiars, which are used more for
protection and trickery than for combat: A Hero may have one familiar in
addition to his normal Ally limit. 14 new Ally cards and 16
new Item cards.
