Die Reise ins Dunkel
Descent combines elements of a tactical miniature board game in a new
way with classic fantasy role playing. One player plays the Overlord, who is
not interested in successful heroes. His aim is the failure of the mission and
his material gives him overpowering faculties. Up to four heroes can only
succeed with astute action and cooperation. There are variable boards and scenarios, the game flow follows the usual scheme: Enter
rooms, turn up tiles, enact events, collect items and fight monsters.
