In the cooperative Living Card Game, based on trading card mechanisms, players in a fellowship of heroes master dangerous adventures in Middle Earth. There are Hero cards, player cards, Encounter cards and Adventure cards.

Das Land des Schattens is a Saga expansion and introduces 165 new cards with allow you to accompany Frodo Beutlin and his fellowship as they approach the Land of Mordor. The game is a sequel to Sarumans Verrat and offers three scenarios for the second half of The Two Towers – Die Durchquerung der Sümpfe / The Passage of the Marshes, Wanderung zum Scheideweg / Journey to the Cross-roads and Kankras Lauer / Shelob’s Lair. There is a new encounter card, a double-sided card for Smeagol/Gollum.
