Heroscape is designed as a basic system for tabletop games and based on a suitable story: On Valhalla wellsprings have been found, their water makes people strong and powerful and gives them visions of creatures from all times and worlds. Valkyries use their power to bring those creatures to Valhalla and use them in combat. The Basic Set holds landscape hexes, army- and power cards, game accessories and beautiful miniatures for different scenarios, either those from the booklet or self-devised. Expansion sets for different themes are planned.
