Im Schatten des Kaisers
Players
represent families in Germany’s
late Middle Ages presenting their demand for the
imperial crown. They collect victory points by builing up cities or rising to
the position of prince elector, after 5 rounds with 8 phases each the player
with the most victory points wins. The phases are income, aging, children,
actions, new prince electors, emperor election, emperor actions and
repositioning of round marker. Complex mechanisms are used to redistribute
power, core of the game are the action cards, which can be bought.
