Dodge City
Aim of the game is to control buildings in Dodge city
and thereby collect scoring disks, the first player to score 6 points wins the
game. A building is controlled when a player can connect four conspicuous squares
with his pieces. The rounds consist of Marshall
round, first and second placing round and fight round. Each round a card is
played, then new cards are drawn, after each fight
round scoring happens.
The Marshall
round determines a starting player for the placement round by placing a card
face down, the value is determined by the kind of card. In the placement round
everyone has 3 actions – play a card, buy pieces,
place pieces. A player controls a building when the fighting round is over, one
fights with cards, value sequence as in the marshal round, the marshal calls
for a duel or concedes that right to the next player, etc. The winner may
remove pieces from buildings. From controlled buildings pieces are removed, the
building is marked with a disc, the owner reveices
the scoring disc and twice the value in dollars.
