Tambuzi

.. last one gets struck by lightning!

The Rain Dance of the animals brings rain, but also lightning, and animals seek shelter in huts! A board showing huts is laid out, with different numbers of huts for different numbers of players; the starting player puts one animal in front of the monkey; all other place their animals - always two, in a game of two players you use two sets of animals - on the door-mat of any hut.

You are active player if your animal sits beside the board. You press the Bongo Buzzer quickly and act according to the symbol that lights up: Move the indicated number of steps; when the inmate of the hut you reached sits on the door mat, you swap places with him and his owner is now active player as his animal sits beside the board; should the animal be in the hut you press the buzzer again quickly. For the hut symbol you move into the hut and the animal in the hut or on the door mat goes off the board. When the Lighting Bolt strikes, the active animal or the animal beside the board is ousted from the game und receives the Tambuzi-Taler of lowest value. For the next round you turn over one part of the board; now there is one hut less, its inmate goes before the monkey and the owner begins the round. When only three animals are left, all add the values of their hut positions and Tambuzi-Talers. If you have most points you get a water drop. The board is prepared again as it was for the first dance and a new dance begins. If you receive a second water drop, you win.

Tambuzi is a quick, harmonious nice game with lots of flair, albeit with lots of bustle and action! You need to pay close attention to who is active, especially when lightning strikes!
