Four tin treasure chests with a colored bottom and a pirate symbol on the lid are set out around the room. Each player holds a set of five pirate cards in five colors - the sime pirate holds one of four pirate symbols or wears the Captain's hat. You run to a chest, open it, memorize symbol or color of the top card and put one of your own cards into the chest, Then you run to the card determined by the memorized card, open it, etc. If you are first to deposit all five cards and touch the Compass card laid out somewhere in the room, you win. In variants you go for symbols on the chests or symbols and colors alternate as targets.
