Ufo Farmer

Cows or rabbits?

Super Farmer or Rancho is a classic game in Poland, you collect animals and swap them for other kinds of animals. Based on this game, Ufo Farmer was created. In this adaptation aliens have landed on earth on a farm of a Superfarmer and want to research the unknown animal species and kidnap most animals.

The game comprises 54 animal markers - 13 each of horses, sheep, cows and rabbits - plus two wolves and 12 identical space ships as well as four space ship bases.

Each player begins with a base and three space ships. In a round each placer, beginning with the starting player, one animal and covers it with one of his space ships. When all space ships have been placed, each player chooses any space ship, regardless of who placed it, and pulls it next to himself, the animal must remain hidden. When all players have again three space ships, each player reveals the animals beneath them that were caught: If you have three identical animals you take two of them for your base and one goes back to the table. If you have a pair and one single animal, all three go back to the table. If you have three different animals you keep one and give two back to the table.  

Wolves cannot be captured by aliens, therefore, if one of three different animals is a wolf it goes back to the table and you must choose one of the other two animals. When at the end of the round there are fewer animals on the table than there are spaceships the game ends and you score the number squared for each type of animal.

Ufo Farmer is, just like Super Farmer, an attractive family game that enchants with simple, easy rules, marvelous components and lots of fun to play!
