Meistercoup

Trick-taking in two game modes: Standard for 3-5 players, Team for 4 or 6 players. 48 cards carry three traits – color, value and number of diamonds, card backsides show the card color.

Standard: you begin with eight cards, eight tricks in a round. In a trick, you play any card of your choice, regardless of the leading card. Whoever played the highest card in the majority color, wins the trick and selects one card. The second-highest value gives you the two lowest cards; cards won are displayed openly. If you have four cards in four colors, you mark a Meistercoup on the scoring sheet. If you mark three Meistercoups, you win the game instantly. Otherwise, after eight tricks in the round, you score the cards on display by value and diamonds, and win after three rounds with most points.

Team: Each player determines their score, but the team decides whose score to enter on the sheet.
