Joking Hazard

You have 7 cards in hand. In your turn, you lay out a starting card. For a red one, there is a bonus round where all can discard and draw any number of cards. Then all but the starting player select two cards as prequel to the open card; then all cards are turned up and the comics read; the starting player selects their favorite. If the starting card is black, you place a card to the left or right of the starting card and all others select one card to complete the comic. Then those cards are revealed, and the comics are read, the active player chooses their favorite. Who contributed to the winner leaves the card(s) open-faced on the table, and a new round begins. If you have three open cards laid out, you win.
