Fleets: The Pleiad Conflict Corporate Lords
Mankind has colonized the Pleiades and corporations fight for influence and control with fleets, diplomacy, ruse and brutal force. A round comprises determining turn order - construction with ship building and ship upgrades - development with placing of fleets in systems - diplomacy with retreating your own fleet for 2 diplomacy points and driving off an opposing fleet for six such points - battle with one shot per ship in a system in order of the initiative number - Revenues, you get new energy and you score one VP for each system in which you are alone; if you are first to score 7 VPs you win.
Corporate Lords introduces individual special abilities for each corporation and a unique escort ship. Neutral fleets move between planets: Pirates fire on all entering a system, and the Trade Convoy enables you to get extra resources from planets. You can now also build operation bases for recharging and repairing.
