Adventurers want to learn secrets from a dark jungle river. In each turn of the game you travel to a Fateful Location and confront an Ominous Encounter. If you master those you learn ancient secrets and acquire useful items in the guise of markers that give support in future encounters. All encounters are mastered with combinations of dice, cards and markers. Failed attempts alert Dark Things which can cost you points. In the aftermath of encounters you acquire equipment cards at trade posts for tools. You win if you have collected most Ancient Secrets when the Nameless Event happens.
