Dwarven Army Pack Expansion Set

BattleLore combines elements of board games, role-playing games and tabletop into a conflict between to fraction based on scenarios. Background for the beautiful and sumptuously equipped game is Europe in the Middle Ages, enriched by fantasy elements.  A move comprises the phases command, activate, move, conflict and drawing. Aim of the game is to conquer a certain number of victory banners, either from the banner bearer of a beaten enemy unit or for crest tiles earned by conquering landscape tiles or other reaching other scenario goals.

The expansion introduces new types of troops – one unit of Red Banner Iron Dwarf Bear Riders, two units of Green Banner Mighty Bolt Throwers, three units of Blue Banner Iron Dwarf Arbalastiers from the core set and four Iron Dwarf Spotters – as well as two types of previously released troops - two units Blue Banner Iron Dwarf Axe Swingers from Dwarven Battalion and two units Blue Banner Iron Dwarf Swordsmen from the core set, for use in four scenarios - Dwarven Reinforcement, Prelude to Cravant, The March to Verneuil and Bloody Day – and, finally, the rules for Battle Savvy Troops with advanced combat techniques.
