Arkham Horror Innsmouth Horror Expansion

 

Within the Roaring Twenties a dark shadow grows in Arham City, the Ancient ones try to find a way into our world. Players are investigators trying to close dimension gates or defeat the Ancient one. A turn comprises five phases, each phase is played by each of the players. Phases are Upkeep, Movement, Arkham Encounters, Other World Encounters and Mythos. The game follows complex rules, when the Ancient One awakens, players fight him until he is defeated or all investigators are devoured.

The expansion changes the setting to a derelict fishing village on the Massachussetts coast and the investigators must stop the horrible Deep Ones and confront the secrets of the Marsh family. There are new investigators, new Ancient ones, new monsters and new cards for use with the basic came. There is also a new board and new heralds as well as personal story cards and the ascension path for the Deep Ones.
