Allegra Grande
Version for the family of “golf” card games and variant of Allegra; you want to optimize your display by collecting, swapping, knocking. and removing to have fewest points at the end of the round. Differences in play to Allegra are: no column anymore, you cannot interfere with another player’s display and cannot “knock” for another player’s card. The display is a 4x4 grid, you draw 2 cards and play 2 cards in a turn and instead of taking two cards you may switch two cards in your display, but must turn up a card afterwards. New are three action cards, which can also work as normal cards; if used as an action card, the card must be drawn, used and discarded: -2: Look at all face-down cards in a row or column, then turn up a card; 5: look at a face-down card and turn up a card; 13: discard an open card and replace it with a face-down one from the draw pile, you do not have to turn up a card! Three jokers can represent any number, but have no additional function.
