Deep Blue

 

Diving for treasures in underwater wrecks, in seven scenarios, including hiring divers and historians, all based on a map. You collect victory points by directing dives, loading boats with treasures, and using crew abilities. In your turn you have one action from the options of hiring, sailing, resting or diving. Hiring – a crew member from the market, paid with money cards from your hand, for extra points when diving or protection against deep-sea dangers or movement when sailing. Sailing – playing crew cards with a propeller and moving boats accordingly, ending on open wreck tiles gives advantages when diving. Resting – refresh hand. Diving – only when boats of your own are on wreck tiles; other players with boats on adjacent tiles participate in the dive; stones are drawn one by one from the bag; if there are too many black or blue stones, dangers that is, the dive can end without collecting treasures. After every stone drawn, each player still participating in the dive may play crew cards for victory points. When the main diver ends the dive, all those still participating receive VPs for their stones. When someone has resolved a dive to the fourth = last tile of the sunken city, the game ends and you win with most victory points.
