Alibi

In analogy to crime dinners, you select a character and take the corresponding deck, as usual you cannot look at cards without being asked to or change the order of cards. In five rounds, you read the top deck of your card, must give out the information listed in the “Statement” section, and only must give the information in the “Secret” section if being asked a direct question on the topic. You must find and show the “clue” card if your current card names one. All play simultaneously, give out statements, discuss, ask questions, and so on. You can look at cards from previous rounds anytime. If you gave your statement information, you set aside the card face-down. When all have done this, a new round begins. After five rounds, your revelation card tells you if you are innocent or guilty and you prepare your arguments. Then in turn, you have one minute to state your version of the events, make accusations, and present your alibi. Then, on a signal, all point to their chosen culprit, the culprit reveals himself and wins, if he is not the one with most “guilty” votes; otherwise, all win who correctly accused the culprit. In a game of more than five players, five are the suspects and the rest play a team of detectives with special rules.

Three cases featured are „Murder on the Nile“, “Blood on the Tartan” and “A Dish to Die For”.
