The 30 Years Anniversary edition introduces four fan special cards and a cooperative variant „Schlagt den Büffel“.  The rules of the core game apply. The four special cards are: „Grade/Ungrade“ tells you which card values you can place; “Springende Kuh” has you considering the card to the left of it”, “Bergsteigen” allows only cards in descending order in this row, and “Zahlendreher” changes the card value by switching the digits, for instance 31->13.

In the „Schlagt den Büffel“ variant all play against the buffalo who also plays a card each round from his stack; after all players chose a card, the top card of the buffalo stack is revealed and all place their cards. Rows taken by players go to a common stack, rows taken by the buffalo to his stack. Special cards for the variant help to make the buffalo take rows or give him penalty points.
