Council of Shadows

 

There is a vacancy on the Council of Shadows. We represent civilizations that apply for admission; the technology that was gifted by the council you use to travel to distant galaxies to harvest energy and deliver any surplus to the council. In three phases of a round you act according to turn order: 1) Buy – up to three buying action for KI card from the display or improvement for your board; 2) Planning and adjust turn order, simultaneously – place three action cards, also on cards already in place; 3) Actions and scoring – resolving actions cards from left to right in turn order, in relation to the range of the action slot and current adaptability to the planet. If you collected a surplus of energy you raise your Dark-Tech level; if someone achieves level 3, you win at the end of the round, after a final scoring of energy from gems, KI cards and bonus card, with the highest Dark-Tech Level. Mechanisms used are action selection, deck building and area control.

Includes expansions – Module 1 Raumstation and Module 2 Leader –and rules for 4 and 6 players and an Automa mode.
