Bang! The Duel

In this stand-alone version of Bang!, law and outlaw confront each other directly. You always have one character at the front as active character AC and one as back-up UC. You try to eliminate opposing characters, each eliminated character is replaced by a new one. Cards played from your individual deck are played onto a joint discard pile which in due course turns into the joint draw pile so that you have access to your opponent’s cards. In a turn, you draw cards from your own or the joint stack and then play any number of cards – maximum one Bang! card on an AC, action cards on all opponents but the UC and equipment cards only on your own UC or the opponent’s AC. Once, in this phase, you may move your AC marker and turn your UC into your AC and vice versa; only the AC’s abilities are active. If at the end of this phase you have more cards in hands than your AC has life points, you discard cards accordingly. If you are first to eliminate all opponent’s characters, you win.
