Monad
A
highly abstract exchanging game, with the topic of mononuclear lifeforms to
higher life forms, asking for lots of thinking and planning. You combine color
and number values, beginning from small starting amounts, to develop your life
forms until you reach the Monad. Cards are displayed as stated in the rules; in
your turn you can either take a card from the value One stack, turn over the
stack or execute an exchange. Exchange can be achieved by trading = discard
cards of lower value equaling the value of the desired higher value card, by
buying = on pair of a color group exchanged for the next higher card, or by jump
= swapping varying numbers of Ones of different colors for higher cards. The
first to collect the required number of monads, wins.
