Challenge Golf at Pebble Beach
Golf simulation. Three double-sided boards show 18 holes of Pebble Beach golf course; a t-shaped ruler is marked in yards. You select a player ability – Boomer hits farther with woods, Ironsides is better with the irons, the Blade excels in putting and Old Smoothy can ignore extreme dice results. You place the ruler on the hole, arrow pointing at where you want to land your ball; you select a club and roll twice. One die determines distance, the other the drift to left or right, hook or slice. Depending on where the ball ends up, you have a limited selection of clubs or even incur a penalty. For approaching the green and the zones on the green, there is another table to consult.
