Galileo
25 tiles in
the middle of the board cover start, planets or comets and wait to be
discovered. These central tiles are surrounded by telescopes which let you see always
the four nearest tiles. The active player can either turn up a tile, look
through the telescope or exchange an upturned tile. If he chooses the
telescope, he must predict, if in the end there will be more stars or more
planets or equal numbers in that row in front of the telescope. If he exchanges
a tile, he mixes it with two tiles from the draw pile and puts one of the three
face down on the board. If all tiles in front of a telescope are turned up, the
row is scored, correct predictions and comets score points. If all 25 tiles are
uncovered, the player with the highest score wins.
