Players trade with goods needed in Rome, can get rich and be a senator in Rome. The 5 rounds comprise the phases harbour, office, forum, senate and barn building. In the harbour goods are transferred to the boat, at the office players divide the wares between forum, senate and storage. At the forum one sells and has income, for donations to the senate one scores victory points and in storage goods are kept for better prices later. After fife rounds with scoring cash and wares are scored again and the player with the most victory points wins.
