Octoverso

Octoverso is a word placement game with very sophisticated details. The letters are doublesided and placed on a turn-tile rack. Each player starts with 11 letters + 1 Joker and forms one word of four letters from his stock. Both words are set onto the rack. Then in your turn you form a word using your letters and at least two letters at the start or the end of the display on the rack. You slide your letters onto the rack to form the word, your opponent must pick up the letters sliding out of the rack. IF you manage to form an 8-letter-word you can return one of your letters to the bag. If you are out of letters first you win the game.
