Zauberlehrling
The mage apprentices take their exams and only the
Master Magician knows wo is
the first to reach the Inner
Circle. He wanders along the magic stones, on some
he is green under his hat, on some he is read. The
apprentices start in the corners, the magic stones are laid out. In his turn a
player rolls the die, moves the Magician along the stones in any direction and
lifts his hat at the end of the move to check the colour. If it is green he may
move his own apprentice the rolled number of steps on the path. If this move
ends on a star spot, one of the magic stones is turned over. In the advanced
game one must move the apprentice back if the Magician shows red. The first
apprentice to reach the Inner circle wins the game.
