In Japan’s Edo Era you are one of Tokugawa Ieyasu’s samurais. The game is based on „sankin-kotai“, which made spend the daimyos one year in Edo and one year in the provinces. One round equals two years: In Edo you try to acquire resources from the Shogun. The higher ranking player makes an offer to the next rank, who can accept or decline; if nobody accepts the offer stays with the player who made it. Then the next rank makes an offer based on the remaining goods, etc. When in the provinces you use the title you acquired in Edo and win the favor of the Shogun by controlling provinces.
