Polterdice
Ghosts of the old gambling dynasty McDice
haunt the castle, players find the hidden treasures
and free the ghosts from the curse. In turn players roll 8 dice and combine two
into a number. With 3-11, but not 7, they can move one step in one of the 16
rooms, occupied squares are jumped over. 1-1 = 2 can be used for any room, 6-6
= 12 chases an opponent one step down. The first player to reach the top step
receives the treasure and frees the ghost of the room. This ghost now
challenges all other players in the room. A player who
accepts the challenge and rolls 1-1, receives two silver coins and the ghost,
any other roll of the dice costs one silver coin and the ghost challenges the
next player in the room. For each ghost freed from the same family one receives
one extra coin. The first player to win 25 coins wins the game, but if three of
four quarters of the castle are emptied, the player with the most coins wins.
