Palatinus

The seven hills of ancient Rome are used for meeting and confrontation alike, groups trade, swap and fight for room. In his move a player places one of his population chips on an empty space, no captain in the last three rounds. When all chips are placed the game is scored: First captains, only on the spots directly adjacent to the hill, counted are farmers and traders adjacent to the captain. In case of a tie the captain is discarded, or else he captures the bigger group. Then influence for all population chips are dealt, the majority gains the hill chip, in case of a tie both parties gain victory point chips. The highest total of one victory point per population chip captured plus hill- and victory point chips wins the game.
