Palatinus
The seven hills of ancient Rome are used for meeting
and confrontation alike, groups trade, swap and fight
for room. In his move a player places one of his population chips on an empty
space, no captain in the last three rounds. When all chips are placed the game
is scored: First captains, only on the spots directly adjacent to the hill,
counted are farmers and traders adjacent to the captain. In case of a tie the
captain is discarded, or else he captures the bigger group. Then influence for
all population chips are dealt, the majority gains the hill chip, in case of a
tie both parties gain victory point chips. The highest total of one victory
point per population chip captured plus hill- and victory point chips wins the
game.
