Vegas
Showdown
Players are millionaires and want to build the most
prestigious hotel casino on the Strip in Las
Vegas. In each round each player chooses an action,
mostly auctioning for a tile and placing this tile. The tiles represent rooms,
land and gaming machines, they enhance population, revenue and reputation. Population
and revenue enhance income, reputation enhances victory points. One can garner
reputation by good placement of tiles, e.g. hotel entrance connected to the
casino entrance, or by diamond patterns on the crossings. When a player has
filled his board or there are no premium cards left, the game ends and the
player with the highest reputation wins.
