Escaped animals must be caught and penned. Cooperative version: 10 animals are on the meadow; in your turn you roll and move the tractor onto the resulting color slot; depending on the slot you take an attracted animal off the meadow, advance the sun chip, take a fence part from stock, put an animal back on the meadow or can choose between animal or fence part. When all 8 fence parts have been taken before sundown, all win together. In the competitive version, each player builds their own fence of four parts; you win if you have most animals in your closed fence when all animals are off the meadow by sundown and at least one fence is completed.
