You are recruited by Jim Gordon to examine cases outside the jurisdiction of the Gotham City Police Department, embodying either Policeman Harvey Bullock, Journalist Vicki Vale, Journalist Warren Spacey or Thief Selina Kyle alias Catwoman. You play four episodes and a prologue to introduce the game mechanisms; each episode is played with a specific deck of cards; each episode begins with an intro featuring first clues; to investigate a clue carries costs for the location. Investigated clues are accessible for the duration of the episode. Many clues contain instructions to follow for use of cards in the deck. Investigating is another option, you advance and take two evidence tokens. https:// https://playdetective.online is used to gather information and enter facts, and you also enter your final report there, answer questions and score points for correct answers.
