Living Forest Duell

 

Nature spirits of Sommer and Winter rival for dominance in the forest, supported by forest animals with elements used to attract other animals, put out forest fires, planting trees or moving Onibi. In a turn, you take the top animal from the draw pile and put it either in the shared or personal row or – with the respective symbol – also into the opponent’s personal row. Then you place an action marker on an animal in the shared row. Loner symbols on placed cards can cost action markers. For an action, you count all elements determined by the placed marker in the shared row, the personal row and the personal forest, and implement the action. If both players are out of action markers, the end of the round is resolved; if you have now less water available than the flame value, you must discard Fire Warans. You win instantly, if you hold eight flame tiles or there are only your spirit symbols in the supply row or you have planted nine trees in a 3x3 grid, or have moved Onibi to the opposing spirit if they already have the Onibi card.
