Slots on the garden sheets are to be colored in. One of four gardens of different levels of difficulty and with special rules for each garden is selected and all take a sheet for that garden. Dice pens are thrown, and in turn all select a pen of one of four colors, the symbol on the dice ring on the pen indicates the slot to color. If you cannot take a suitable pen, you pass your turn. Bamboo plants are colored in from bottom to top, lady birds next to a slot can be colored, too If someone has colored their third lady bird, gardens are scored at the end of the round according to the special rules for that garden.
